Dropped down to 8 m and the sea floor gradually sloped down to 18 m by the end of the dive. Saw lots of fish hanging stock still to avoid being noticed, including a Variegated Lizard fish which was darting over the sand to which it looked so similar and came to an abrupt halt at my approach. Saw an enormous Moray eel lurking in a clump of coral. I hung over it for a short while and it looked up at me and opened its impressive jaws. Craig banged his tank to attract our attention and pointed to a huge Southern ray. It took fright and flew off flapping its massive wings: it was massive. Surfaced with Tony, Dave Trought, Clare and Siobhan and finned swiftly to the boat.
