The Manacles side of the Lizard was blown out so we sought refuge on the leeward side out of Mullion Cove. Forgot to take a bearing on the island (so that we could head for shallower water if required) so had to rely on Nick. Vis was atrocious and currents very confusing. Ended up caught in a gentle whirl and just went round and round in a large circle, according to the skipper watching our SMB. Couldn't really see enough to tell where we were going. Saw one crab. Got very cold, but did a four minute safety stop despite this. All in all a pretty horrible dive.
