Kelp, and lots of it. Was quite relieved to hit bottom at the start of the dive after aborted a dive shortly before with Zoe because we didn't hit bottom at 20 m (66 ft). The kelp was exceptionally thick. It was tricky giving signals to Ron and seeing his signals because the kelp was everywhere. Swam through it smearing across my mask. Saw a Blue wrasse. The water was filled with algae with spoilt the vis. After half an hour scrambling through kelp I got cold. Ron suggested ending the dive and I agreed. He didn't think the dive was very good but I quite enjoyed it.
