TWATI today announced it was taking unprecedented legal action over an advertisement that recently appeared in the best-selling diving magazine Skin Scuba. Due to an administrative error by its New York based advertising agency the world-famous TWATI slogan “Learn to Dive the TWATI Way™” was printed in the advertisement as “Learn to die the TWATI Way™”.
TWATI Publicity Manager Nark O'Sis was horrified. “Our agency has told us that us that the mistake was caused by a defective letter 'V' on one of their computer keyboards. This is going to do untold harm to TWATI’s otherwise excellent global image”.
